The procedure at Dhanbad City School is friendly and transparent. Every parent shall visit and fill the enquiry form first. It includes details of the child and the parents. Go down to fill the Online Enquiry Form. Parents are advised not to fill more than one enquiry form for one applicant.

- to Grades I and above will be based on the written entrance test. Date and time for the interaction/entrance test will be intimated to the parents.
- Final decision of giving (and in which class) will be of the School based on the Test/ Interaction.
- The Registration fee can be submitted by the parents before interaction/entrance test. Kindly note that registration charge is non-refundable & needs to be paid ONE time only.
- Incomplete registration form will not be accepted.
- Kindly submit below mentioned documents along with remaining amount within 15 days of submitting registration charges, failing which the offer of stand cancelled & the seat will be offered to another applicant.

Caution: The school does not accept any donation for . Parents should be aware of 3rd parties collecting money on behalf of the school & making false claims of procuring . If the parents enter into any transaction with such parties, they will be doing so at their own risk & the school shall not be responsible for it.
School Rules
- Late comers will not be allowed to enter the school on the third consecutive late arrival day and will be sent home at the risk of parents/guardians. The school will not take any responsibility in such cases.
- Every student is expected to attend the school regularly and on time.
- All leaves must be applied in writing to the Principal. No student shall proceed on leave without sanction and permission, especially when the leave exceeds one day.
- Merely applying for leave is not enough, it has to be sanctioned (granted) by the Principal.
- Any unauthorized absence for ten or more working days (other than in case of illness) shall lead to the removal of the student’s name from the roll.
- Students with names removed from the roll will have to take fresh with the Principal’s permission.
- Sick leave will be granted on production of a proper medical certificate.
- Students who have been absent from the class must give the reasons for their absence in their school diary under the column of Absence Record.
- No leave of absence will be granted without a previous application in writing from the Parent/Guardian.
- For marriage in the family only two days leave will be granted.
- Parents/Guardians are not allowed to meet their wards during school hours without prior permission from the office of the principal.
- No student is allowed to leave the school premises or be sent home alone during school hours without explicit permission of the principal. In case of an urgent need, a duly authorized person should come to fetch him/her with a note of authority and Identity Card from the parents/guardians.
- Speaking in English is compulsory for the students within the school campus. Students found speaking in Hindi/regional language are liable to disciplinary action.
- Parents are welcome to meet the Principal to discuss the progress of their children during visiting hours with a prior appointment.
- Dhanbad City School students should behave in a proper manner on their way to and from school. They should remember that the school is judged by their conduct in the society.
- Parents will carry Parent Entry Card while collecting children from the school. Without this card, no child will be handed over to the parent or guardian.
- Parents must ensure that their child attends the school regularly, has a proper uniform, and brings the required books and notebooks daily.
- Parents are expected to check their child’s school diary daily and note the homework and remarks given by teachers.
